Young Minds Empowered is proud to be a premier partner for Financial  Literacy, STEM / STEAM, and Entrepreneurship programs in schools and recreation centers. Young Minds Empowered works hand-in-hand with each school to supplement in-school field trips, and summer camps. Why recreate the wheel? Through a partnership with Young Minds Empowered, your learning environment will render a unique STEM curriculum focused on atypical engineering fields for Grades K-12. Our stock investing and  entrepreneurship curriculum highlights student networking and mentorship through community partnerships. Our engaging, real world applicable, 21st century, and varied learning style approach lends itself to greater student enthusiasm and leadership development.

Which Activity is Right for your School?

In-school Field Trips can be customized for your grade level school program. Our field trips allow teachers to partner with us while our Program leaders engage students in Biomedical and Electrical engineering STEAM projects. We also provide a modified version of our Stock Investing Financial Literacy program that meets, VA Standards of Learning, Common Core, NGSS, and NCTM standards. We will come to your campus.

PROGRAM COST:  per child pricing

PROGRAM LENGTH: 3 hours

CLASS SIZE REQUIREMENT: 18 students

Young Minds Empowered works in partnership with your child's school and community recreation centers. Our YME Club leaders go through an intensive YME Train the Trainer curriculum course, background check, and Responsive Classroom training. Our program provides one-1 hour session for 8 weeks on a quarterly basis on your campus.

Young Minds Empowered works in partnership with building level administrators or Guidance Counselors to customize a weekly rotational specials / encore course offering on a Quarterly basis. We work with both public and private K - 12 educational learning environments. All courses are offered on the school's campus. The following will be provided: 

  • State Certified Teacher

  • 21st Century Curriculum

  • Syllabus

Young Minds Empowered enriches when school's out for summer. We intentionally incorporate the great outdoors into our curriculum unless a heat advisory is issued or inclement weather is visible. We offer our popular clubs during the summer month within schools, local libraries, and community recreation centers for conveniences. Parents are invited on the last day of camp for an end of session presentation from their campers. All campers will receive a camp shirt, camp photo, and a certificate.
